Almost nine years after its initial release, Honor of Kings still continues to take in huge amounts of revenue in China. According to the latest numbers presented by NoKyc.com, Honor of Kings was the highest-grossing mobile game in China in February, making $120.36 million in monthly revenues.

PUBG Mobile also continues to be popular in China

China continues to be a huge market for mobile games, and it’s not a surprise that major Chinese video game developers such as Tencent are primarily focused on this market.

Honor of Kings, published by Tencent Games, has been hugely popular in China ever since its release, and it has arguably become the most popular MOBA game in the country. Last month, Honor of Kings made $120.36 million in revenue from the App Store and Play Store.

PUBG Mobile also finds itself in a similar situation. The multiplayer battle royale game might have lost some of its charm in other markets, but it still continues to attract a huge number of players in China. In February, PUBG Mobile made $80.06 in the China market.

League of Legends Mobile (also known as Wild Rift) was the third most successful mobile game in China in February. The game made $34.84m in monthly revenue.

Battle of Golden Spatula is the next game on the list, with $28.82m in revenue. The game is a spin-off of Teamfight Tactics and was launched in 2021. Like the first three games, Battle of Golden Spatula is also developed and published by Tencent or one of its subsidiaries.

Crossfire Legends, an action shooter, is the next game on the list, with $28.73 million in revenue. The game was developed by Tencent and South Korean developers Smilegate.

The next two games on the list are developed by Chinese developers NetEase Inc. Popular MMO Justice is in the sixth spot with $28.25m in revenue. Egg Party is not far behind, with $25.57m in revenue in February.

Genshin Impact, developed by miHo Yo, was the eighth most successful mobile game in China last month. It made $20.55m in revenue.

The last two spots on the list are occupied by Honkai: Star Rail and Fantasy Westward Journey.
