The Japanese company is responsible for popular gaming franchises such as Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">During the past decade, the company has witnessed consistent <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">growth in its sales numbers, and the same<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> is expected in FY 2024.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As per<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the estimates from Capcom, they expect to sell 50 million games in FY 2024. Capcom\u2019s FY 24 release calendar includes the eagerly-anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds (slated to release in February 2025). The sales numbers for FY 2024 would also include the majority of sales for the much-awaited Dragon\u2019s Dogma ll, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">which was<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> released on 22nd March 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sales in FY 2024 represent an 8.9% year-on-year increase on 45.89 million units sold in the previous year. These sales numbers add another year to the ongoing era of sustained growth at Capcom. Capcom expects to sell just 3.4m physical copies of their games in FY 2024. Meanwhile, digital sales are expected to reach 46.6 million, 93.2% of total estimated sales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The share of digital sales has also increased regularly over the years. During FY 2019, digital sales contributed 80.6% of all sales.
